Peter L. Fear, Bankruptcy Attorney

Peter Fear was admitted to the California Bar in 2000 following his graduation from Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy. Mr. Fear represents debtors, creditors and trustees in bankruptcy Mr. Fear is a member of the Fresno County Bar Association, the Central California Bankruptcy Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Federal Bar Association, the Federalist Society, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Mr. Fear is on the board of directors for the Central California Bankruptcy Association and has held the following positions with the CCBA: Second Vice President (2007), First Vice President and Institute Chair (2008), and President (2009). He is also on the board of directors of the California Bankruptcy Forum (2008-2009). Mr. Fear is also on the Judicial Advisory Committee for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and the Clerk's Advisory Committee for the Eastern District of California Bankruptcy Court. He is admitted to practice before all of the courts of the State of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Central Districts of California.
Before entering the legal field, Mr. Fear spent a year working with juvenile delinquents and troubled families in the inner city. Mr. Fear has also worked on civil rights litigation protecting families from unlawful government intrusion. Consequently, he understands the needs of families that are going through difficult times and has compassion for each client who walks through his door. Mr. Fear gains great satisfaction from helping clients get back on their feet and working with clients to solve debt problems.
Mr. Fear is married to the former Debra Templeton, and they have four children. In his rare free time, Mr. Fear is an avid basketball player and enjoys reading.
