Mr. Fear is a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference for 2015 through 2017. Mr. Fear has been appointed as co-chair for the 2017 Eastern District Conference for the federal courts in the Eastern District of California. He is also a member of the Local Rules Committee for the Eastern District of California Bankruptcy Court, the Clerk’s Advisory Committee for the Eastern District of California Bankruptcy Court and the board of directors for the San Joaquin Valley Chapter of the Federal Bar Association where he served as Treasurer (2013-2014), Vice President (2015), and President in (2016).

Mr. Fear is a past member of the board of directors for the Central California Bankruptcy Association (2007-2011) and has held the following positions with the CCBA:

  • President (2009)

He has also served on the Judicial Advisory Committee for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California (2006-2011). He is admitted to practice before all of the courts of the State of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Central, and Northern Districts of California.

Committed to Helping Clients

Mr. Fear was admitted to the California Bar in 2000 following his graduation from Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy. Before entering the legal field, Mr. Fear spent a year working with juvenile delinquents and troubled families in the inner city. Mr. Fear has also worked on civil rights litigation protecting families from unlawful government intrusion. Consequently, he understands the needs of families that are going through difficult times and has compassion for each client he works with.

Mr. Fear gains great satisfaction from helping clients get back on their feet and working with clients to solve debt problems. Mr. Fear is married to the former Debra Templeton, and they have seven children. In his rare free time, Mr. Fear enjoys playing basketball and reading.
